Injection moulding machine manufacturer ARBURG has reinforced its international management team. Bharat Sharma took on the role of Regional Manager APAC, responsible for the Asia-Pacific region, effective 1 October 2026.
Own subsidiaries in six countries in the region
According to ARBURG’s announcement dated 28 October 2026, the company has its own subsidiaries in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Other countries in the region are served by distribution partners, some of whom have worked with ARBURG for many decades.
The company describes Sharma as an experienced leader with extensive international expertise and an in-depth understanding of customer and market requirements in Asia-Pacific. According to ARBURG, the role positions him to expand the company’s market position in this key growth region and to strengthen ties with customers and partners.
Other regional responsibilities
According to the announcement, Zhao Tong continues to be responsible for China. Martin Baumann is Regional Manager for the Americas and Steffen Eppler is Regional Manager for Europe.
